AUBURN, Wash. ---- Lester Edmonds Mounts Sr., 83, died Feb. 14, 2004, in Auburn, Wash.
Born Aug. 15, 1920, in Pleasantville, he had lived in the Auburn area for 32 years. He was the son of Oliver and Stella Mounts.
He was an electronic technician employed in the aerospace industry. He served in World War II and Korea War, and retired after 20 years of service. He was also employed by the Boeing Company as an electronic technician for 15 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge 2166.
Survivors include two sons, Lester Mounts Jr. of St. Peters, Mo., and Darrell Mounts of North Glenn, Colo.; two daughters, Alice Preston of Portland, Ore., and Ruth Bushnell of Mosseyrock, Wash.; a brother, Arthur P. Mounts of Alexandria, Ind.; sister, Forest Fern Cleveland of Linton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma; and a sister, Minnie Medley.
Service was at 1 p.m. today at the Price Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn, Wash. Burial was in Tahoma National Cemetery.
Helton Funeral Home in Auburn was in charge of arrangements.
