TERRE HAUTE ---- Charles K. "Ken" Miller, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
Born April 27, 1918 in Paris, Ill., he was the son of Charles and Grace (Sisson) Miller.
He owned and operated Weberg's Furniture for 42 years. He served in World War II in the Navy, and at Wabash River Ordinance Works in Newport. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Terre Haute Elks Lodge 86, and Masonic Lodge 268 in Paris, Ill.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; two daughters, Carol Crawford and Joan Watson and husband Bob, of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Sherri Sapp and her husband Danny, Eric Klakamp and his wife Johnna, Jill Thompson and her husband Reece, Matthew McCallum and his companion Hilary Jordan, and Ryan Klakamp and his wife, Cynthia; five great-grandchildren, Chris Essex, Brent Essex, Kade Sapp, Morgan Thompson, and Ryley Thompson; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Joe Merrill and John Weberg and wife Jacque; and cousins Bill Sisson, Carolyn Smith, and Dorothy Myers.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law James Crawford.
A private memorial service will be Sunday afternoon at the World Gospel Church.
Burial will be Monday at Roselawn Memorial Park.
