Ralph Dean, 90, passed away today, Feb. 27, 2004 at 2:10 a.m. at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born May 10, 1913 in Greene County, he was the son of Frank and Fannie Belle (Gabbard) Dean.
He was the co-owner and manager of Dean Brothers Trucking, and a member of the Linton Assembly of God Church. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Dean of Linton and Larry Dean of Linton; one daughter, Betty Wines of Greenfield; one brother, Earl Dean of Georgia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dorothy; second wife, Blanche; one daughter, Peggy Dean; and one grandson, Jeffrey Wines.
Funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Merrill Weir officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
