Bonnie J. Lester, 96, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born May 8, 1907 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Orlando and Lilly (Morris) Roach.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Switz City Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters-in-law, Norma Jean Bock of Bloomfield and Nogie Bock of Linton; two grandchildren, Dick Bock of Bloomington and Kelly Padgett of Linton; two step-grandchildren, Jack Williams of Linton and Jessica McBride of Linton; two great-grandchildren, Nathan Bock of Sullivan and Cara Wayland of Sullivan; and one great-great grandchild, Carsyn Wayland of Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland A. Lester, who passed away in 1976; two sons, Dick Bock and Robert Bock; two sisters, Pat Isenogle and Blanche Livingston; and one infant brother.
Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Sunday.
