BLOOMFIELD ---- Martha L. Hall, 84, of Bloomfield, died at 12:43 a.m. Jan. 1, 2004, at Greene County General Hospital.
Born June 1, 1919, in Scotland, Ind., she was the daughter of john Summerville and Odie Inman Summerville.
She had been a personal secretary to Mrs. Tarzian at Sarkes Tarzian, a retired cook and waitress at Toodie's Cafe in Scotland. She was a member of the Scotland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, William Ray Hall of Bloomfield; two grandsons, William Rollie Hall and Jeremy Christopher Hall, both of Bloomfield; a sister, Hazel Mowery of Michigan; sisters-in-law Ruth Wilcox of Bloomington, Elsie Hall of Ellettsville and Deloris Summerville of Scotland; a brother-in-law, William Rex Hall of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie L. Hall, on March 19, 2001; three brothers, Vearl "Toodie" Summerville, Herschel Summerville and Clarence Summerville; a sister, Mary Hinkle; an infant brother; an infant sister; and her parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be in Scotland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
