Edward J. Fox, 75, of Linton, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. in Greene County General Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1928, in Cleves, Ohio, he was the son of Edward and Golda Arbogast Fox. He was a truck driver for A&P Food Stores for 40 years and for Kibler Trucking Company until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Linton American Legion Post #22 and the Jasonville VFW Post #6225.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary (Cook) Fox, whom he married on July 2, 1955, in Lawrenceburg, Ind.; three daughters, Jeanne Fox of Greenwood, Ind., Elizabeth Potenza of Indianapolis, Ind., and Elaine Heins of Chandler, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Edward, Jennifer, Kendra, Philip, Jarreth and Rhianna; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob and Trevin and one niece, Linda Bentley of Des Moines, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ida Cannon.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with the Rev. Lamont Bonath officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by Linton American Legion Post #22. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be today from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of services.
