Anne Ladson Herndon, 88, formerly of Linton, died Jan. 11, 2004, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 21, 1915, in Hammond, she was the daughter of Michael and Helen (Popovich) Budnyk.
She had been a teacher for 44 years and earned her master's degree in education from Indiana State University.
Survivors include her niece, Julienne Argentine and her husband, Scott Wohlgemuth and Julienne's children Eric, Brian, Ken and Beth; a sister, Marie (John) Benko; nieces Judy (Jack) Conley, Janice (Marvin) Drewno and Helen (Bernie) Charlet; nephews Samuel (Marty) Budnyk and Jon Lair, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Garland Ladson; second husband Roy Herndon; brothers and sisters.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Thursday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Lamont Bonath officiating.
There will be no visitation.
The Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
