Robert "Bobby" Alexander, 33, Route 3, Solsberry died Saturday, Jan. 17 at his mother's residence in Solsberry.
Born April 27, 1970, he was the son of Sarah "Sally" DeMoss and step-father Paul E. DeMoss, of Solsberry.
He was employed at Sweet Owen Industries in Spencer and was a client of Options and former client of Stone Belt. He participated in Special Olympics.
He is survived by his parents, two sister and brothers-in-law, Larry and Tina (DeMoss) Owings of Solsberry and Scott and Melissa McLain of Spencer; five nieces, Tosha DeMoss, Kayla DeMoss, Jessica Grubb, Ashley Shelton and Sara McLain; two nephews, Dustin White and James Shelton; his maternal grandmother, Dessa (Bartlett) McVey of Whitehall; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Ann (Alexander) Shelton; maternal grandfathers Rosco Bartlett and Robert W. McVey; one nephew, Adam McLain; and one uncle David Bartlett.
Service will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel in Bloomington with Pastor Richard E. Reed and Bro. Richard Gunter officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home, located at 700 Gourley Pike, from 2-9 p.m. on Tuesday.
