Hazel Marie Magner, 86, of Ellettsville, passed away 1:35 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007 at The Waters in Martinsville.
Born Jan. 9, 1921, in Robinson, Ill., she was the daughter of Hal S. and Gussie (Pleasant) White.
She was retired from Bloomington Packing Co. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Dr. Stewart at Town & Country Veterinarian Clinic and at Owen, Monroe Feeder Sale Barn.
She was a member of the Christian Church in Ellettsville, the Pink Ladies at Bloomington Hospital and the Rebekeh Lodge in Bloomington.
Survivors include: one daughter, Judy Martin (Dennis) of Ellettsville; one son, Bill Sargent (Sharon) of Lyons; one sister, Elizabeth Gray of Martinsville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Byron "Barney" Magner; two sisters, Margaret "Peg" Bennett and Jean Kelley; and one grandson, David Alan Martin.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with Jim Frasure officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
