Velma (Corbin) Caudell, 79, of Speedway and formerly of Owensburg, died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Waters of Martinsville.
Born Dec. 8, 1923, in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Hovey and Thirza Porter Corbin.
She was a foreman at RCA in Bloomington, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Owensburg Order of Eastern Star and had received a 50-year pin.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Gliva of Owensburg; a grandson, John M. and his wife Christy Gliva of Greenwood; a brother, Cecil "Sandy" Corbin and his wife, Pat, of Lufkin, Texas; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Hovey Corbin Jr., Chester Corbin and Joe Corbin; a twin sister, Thelma Weaver, and a sister, Lucille VanBuren.
Service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. James Olinger officiating. Burial will be in Owensburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and from noon Wednesday until the hour of service.
