BLOOMFIELD ---- Lynette Barbara Leach, 61, of Bloomfield, died at 1:25 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Jan. 18, 1942, in Melbourne, Australia, she was the daughter of Stanley and Merridy Pemberton Mars.
She was a retired nurse/midwife, and a wife and mother. She practiced nursing at various hospitals in Australia in Queensland, Brisband, Hobart and in the emergency nursing staff in Western Australia.
Survivors include her husband, William M. Leach of Bloomfield; a daughter, Leigh A. Miller of Indianapolis; a son-in-law, Mark H. Miller of Indianapolis; her mother, Merridy Mars of Geilston Bay, Tasmania, Australia; one sister, Elizabeth Hodson of Swansea, Tasmania, Australia; two brothers, Phillip Mars of Clifton Beach, Tasmania, Australia, and Steven Mars of Wentworth-on-Darling New South Wales, Australia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Linda C. Johnson officating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, and will be one hour prior to the service today.
