Hazel Marie Thompson, 65, of Bloomington, died at 8:25 p.m. Saturday at Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville.
Born Sept. 17, 1938, in Greene County, she was the daughter of Harley Anderson and Anna Vesta Blevins Anderson.
She was a homemaker and was active in the Bloomington Salvation Army.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence E. (Buddy) Thompson, Jr., of Bloomington; one step-daughter, Bernice Jean Capehart of Boonville; one step-son, Charles Paul Nicholas of Bloomington; one sister, Cora Sue Long of Springville; three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Elmer, Robert W. and John R. Anderson; three sisters, Norma June Silvers, Mildred Ruth Anderson and Mary Jo London; and a companion, Charles D. Nicholas.
Private graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Antioch Cemetery in rural Bloomfield, with The Rev. Donald Hash officiating.
There will be no visitation.
