CARMEL ---- Hazel Brown, 93, of Carmel and formerly of Linton, passed away at 1:45 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 20, at Summer Trace Health Center in Carmel.
Born Sept. 26, 1910, in Linton, she was the daughter of Elmer and Gertrude (Fullom) Templeton. She was a homemaker and member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Linton.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Carroll of Bloomington; a sister-in-law, Vennetta Templeton of Carmel; niece and husband, Sharon and Richard Smoot of Carmel; nephews and their wives, Denny and Janet Carroll of Bloomington, Ronald and Patricia Templeton of Pittsburg, Penn., Jack and Ernestine Templeton of Carmel; eight great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brown, on Jan. 8, 1962; a brother, Harold Templeton, and her parents.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Rev. John Monroe officiating.
There will be no visitation. Welch and Cornett Linton Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
