Blanche Livingston, 99 of Dixon, Ill., passed away at 6:50 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2003 in the Lee County Nursing Home in Dixon, Ill.
She was born on Nov. 28, 1904 in Switz City to Orlando S. and Lilly Morris Roach.
She was a clerk at Kroger and Aldens in Bloomington.
She and her husband owned and operated Livingston Grocery Store. She was retired. She was a member of the McDoel Baptist Church in Bloomington.
She is survived by one daughter, June A. Pottorff of Dixon, Ill.; one son, Wayne E. Livingston of High Point, N.C.; one sister, Bonnie Lester of Bloomfield; two granddaughters; two grandsons; five great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; one great-great-grandson; and two great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Wayne Livingston on March 9, 1970; two daughters, Dorothy Jean Livingston and Esther Ruth Livingston; one sister, Pat Isenogle; one brother, Norman Dale Roach; and one grandson, David W. Pottorff.
Funeral service was today at 10 a.m. at Lester Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Chris Gehring officiating. She was buried in the Switz City Cemetery in Switz City.
