BLOOMFIELD ---- Nina Louise (Sparks) Eller-Foster, 89, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born May 18, 1914 in Ridgefarm, Ill., she was the daughter of James Emery and Bessie Hazel (Pearson) Sparks Sr.
She was a clerk for several area family businesses. She was a member of Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star, and a charter member of Faith Christian Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Lena Mann and Freida Uland, both of Bloomfield; one brother, James Emery Sparks Jr. of Plainfield; one brother-in-law, Stanley Fiscus of Bloomfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth A. Eller in 1983; second husband, Hubert W. Foster in 1996; one son, Kenneth Jerome "Jerry" Eller in 1963; three sisters, Ava Ockerman, Betty Ingalla and Dorothy Fiscus; and one brother, Jackie Sparks.
Funeral service will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield at 2 p.m. on Wednesday with the Revs. Henry Mann and Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday.
