BLOOMFIELD ---- Deloris (Dee) Bush, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003 at her residence.
Born March 23, 1926 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of James and Bertha (Wright) Hardesty Chipman.
She was a telephone operator for Indiana Bell Telephone Company for 17 years. She was a member of Bloomfield American Legion Auxiliary and Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include, her husband, Ernest A. Bush of Bloomfield; son, Mark A. Bush of Bloomfield; twin sister, Cloris (Sissie) Hardesty of Bloomfield; sister, Edna Sparks of Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Margaret Hardesty of Bloomfield; brother-in-law, Ralph Bush of Sun City, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Savern Allen and Ethel Burgess; four brothers, James Hardesty, Lexie Hardesty, Noah Hardesty, Claude Ray (Cotton) Hardesty; and her parents.
Funeral service will be at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Jerry Wilbert and the Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, and noon Wednesday until the hour of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Greene County or National Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
