PLAINFIELD ---- Emma Kathryn "Kay" Miller Hall, 66, of Plainfield and formerly of Mooresville, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 in St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Born July 12, 1937 in Worthington, she was the daughter of Ray and Mabel O. Wells Miller.
She was a 1955 graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School and a 1958 graduate of Union Hospital School of Nursing, Terre Haute. She attended the Hazelwood Christian Church in Hazelwood. She retired in 1988 after 16 years as a registered nurse for Kendrick Memorial Hospital, Mooresville. For several years after retirement she worked as a nurse for Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Mooresville.
Survivors include, her husband, Robert Wendell Hall of Plainfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael R. and Myrna Hall of Worthington and Mark A. and Marilyn Hall of Monrovia; daughter, Jeanete Kay "Jan" Cashion of Plainfield; two sisters, Elsie Irene Reagan of Bloomfield and Mary Sue Hays of Solsberry; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral service was at Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville at 10 a.m. today with the Rev. Steve Ranson officiating. Burial followed at 1 p.m. at the Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute.
Friends called at the funeral home from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday.
