Mary Ann Gullion, 66, of Linton, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003 at her residence.
Born Feb. 11, 1937 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Maurice W. and Jessie (Moore) Shanklin.
She was a homemaker, and had also been a sales clerk in downtown Linton in various business. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and did volunteer work at Calvary Christian School and the church office. She served as a state and regional judge in the Arts and Crafts Division of Accelerated Christian Education Student Convention. She had also taught a sewing class at Calvary Christian School.
Survivors include her husband, Richard N. Gullion of Linton; two daughters, and sons-in-law, Patricia and Michael Ellington of Linton; Terry and David Davis of Linton; five grandchildren, Richard Duvivier; Michael Lacy; Christeena Duvine; Katrina Davis and Carman Ellington; two great-grandsons, James and Eli Duvine; and one sister, Martha Hofmeister of Chelsea, Mich.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Jennifer Lacy; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday with Dr. H. Eugene Riker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemtery in Linton.
Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Linton Memory Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
