Mary Margaret Osha 74, of Linton, passed away at 11:07 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003 at her residence in Linton.
Born Sept. 22, 1928 in Lyman, Miss., she was the daughter of William and Hazel (Daugherty) James.
She worked at various factories as a seamstress.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight Osha, Jr. of Indianapolis and Ronald Force of Jasonville; three daughters, Angie Tennant of Linton, Annella Robertson of Plainville and Carolyn Force of California; three sisters, Kathyrn Bragg of Jasonville, Patricia Bohnert of Jasonville and Dorothy Frink of West Lafayette; six grandchildren, Shane Force of Tennessee, Kerry Baxter of Jasonville, Amy Force of Terre Haute, Becky Deischer of Linton, Jennifer Irish of Linton, and Derrick Tennant of Linton, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Osha, on Aug. 29, 1998; a brother, William James; sister, Wilma Elizabeth Adams; and her parents.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. John Monroe officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to VistaCare Foundation through the funeral home.
