James L. "Buck" Collins

SULLIVAN ---- James L. "Buck" Collins, 74, of Sullivan, passed away at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born Jan. 6, 1929 in Sullivan, he was the son of Raymond and Marie Jones Collins.

Survivors include four sons, William Maze of South Carolina, Lee Maze and Jack Maze both of Sullivan, and Eugene Maze of Victorville, Calif.; one foster son, David O. Campo in the U.S. Army; three daughters, Linda Snider and Liz Graham both of Sullivan, and Sandra Simmons of Clay City; one brother, Jerry Collins of Sullivan; one sister, Imogene Robertson of Sullivan; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Mason Collins, in 1995; three brothers, Carl Collins, Raymond Austin Collins and Ralph Collins; and his parents.

Funeral service will be at Banks & Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan at 2 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. James Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Center Ridge Cemetery.
