JASONVILLE ---- Larry Hugh Baker, 57, of Jasonville, passed away at 6:45 a.m., Thursday Sept. 18, 2003 at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.
Born June 25, 1946 in Linton, he was the son of Hugh Ralph and Thelma G. (Bridges) Baker.
He was self-employed as a general contractor for over 30 years. He was a member of Shakamak Community Church in Jasonville; Operating Engineers 841 of Terre Haute; 36-year member of Linton American Legion Post 22; and Elks B.P.O. 866. He was a nine-year veteran of the Air National Guard.
Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Michele Lynn and Doug Crysel of Jasonville; son and daughter -in-law, Christopher II and Paula Baker of Jasonville; five grandchildren, Amber Nicole Baker, Megan Rachelle Crysel, Holly Marie Baker, Bryce Douglas Crysel and Brynna Michele Crysel; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and David Neal of Jasonville; two nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville at 11 a.m. on Monday with the Rev. Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland. Military graveside rites by Linton American Legion Post 22.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. on Sunday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday.
