COLUMBUS ---- Mary J. London, 71, of Columbus, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born March 19, 1932 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Harley A. and Anna Vesta Blevins Anderson.
She was co-owner of Columbus Nutrition Shop with her husband. She was a former Bartholomew County Welfare case worker and was a former cook for Bartholomew county schools. She was a member of Faith Temple Church and of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include two sons, James W. London of Franklin and Michael A. London of Hope, Ind.; two sisters, Hazel Thompson of Bloomington and Cora Sue Long of Springville; and six grandchildren, Robert A., Joanna M., Christina M., B. Austin and Aaron M. London and Tracy M. Godby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin W. London, on June 24, 1959; several brothers and sisters; and her parents.
Graveside service will be at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. Jeff Boriss officiating.
Friends may call at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington St. in Columbus from 4-8 p.m. today.
