JASONVILLE ---- Paul D. Pruett, Sr., 80, of Jasonville, passed away 12:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan.
Born Nov. 21, 1922 in Worthington, he was the son of William and Thursia (Shepherd) Pruett.
He was a construction worker out of the Chicago local.
Survivors include a son, Paul D. Pruett, Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Bob Pruett of Clinton; two granddaughters; nephew, John Dayhuff of Linton; several nieces and nephews; and caregiver and friend, Rita Vetez of Jasonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at McClanahan-Lee Funeral Home in Jasonville at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Harold Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Walker Cemetery in Worthington with graveside rites by the Jasonville American Legion 172 and VFW 6225.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
