Charles Curtis Myers, 70, of Bloomington, passed away at 1:29 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, 3003 .
Born July 28, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Walter Farrish and Mildred Myers.
He was a carpenter for The House Doctor Remoldeling. He was a member of Elks, VFW, Knights of Columbus, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy (Korea).
Survivors include, his wife, Sharleen Snapp Myers of Bloomington; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Curtis and Katie Burke Myers of Vincennes, Chris and Cindy Myers of Bicknell, Corry and Barb Myers of Harrodsburg, and Aaron Myers of Bloomington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Bruce stephens of Bruceville and Michelle and Rick Leclere of Tell City; two step sons and daughters-in-law, Benji and Liesl Loudermilk and Anthony and Alisha Loudermilk all of Bloomington; sister, Sylvia Thomas of Conway of S.C.; brother, Roy Auberry of Bicknell; 25 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Flynn, and brother, Gordon Auberry.
Funeral service will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Bloomington at 10 a.m. on Saturday with Father W. Joseph Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens with a graveside military service conducted by Veterans Honor Guard.
