Edith E. Baker, 79, of Linton, passed away at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at Greene County General Hospital.
Born Dec. 12, 1923 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Bert and Malinda (Lester) Morrison.
She was a homemaker and ordained minister, and attended South Linton Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Larry Sullivan of Bloomfield, Pamela and Danny Michael of Solsberry, and Becky Brown of Arrowsmith, Ill.; three brothers, Ned More of Ellettsville, Stanley Morrison of Clinton, and James Morrison of Shoals; one sister, Faye Christenberry of Linton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two sons; two sisters; and five brothers.
Funeral service will be at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton at 11 a.m. on Friday with the Rev. Russell Black officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday.
