Rose Marie Tucker, 92, of Linton, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born July 18, 1911 in Linton, she was the daughter of Honore and Bertha (Teyssier) Mounier.
She was a 1929 Linton-Stockton High School graduate, a homemaker and had worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses. She was a member of the Summerville Church of Christ and had been a Sunshine volunteer at Glenburn Home for about 10 years.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert H. and Vivian Tucker of Linton and Louhan and Carolyn Tucker of Naperville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Holly Hamilton of Nashville, Tenn., Heather LaMare of Naperville, Ill., Constance Jean Douglas of Illinois, and Robert Warren Tucker of Marysville, Ohio; three great-grandchildren; and one nephew and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Harold Tucker on Oct. 26, 1987; two brothers, Red Mounier and Louis Calzia; a granddaughter, Buffi Veirs; and her parents.
Funeral service will be at the Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel at 11 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m.on Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday until the hour of service.
