Dugger students raise funds

Wednesday, September 26, 2007

Dugger Elementary School students held "Penny Wars" from Sept. 4-7. The "Penny War" proceeds went to assist the family of Dylan Woods who was injured in a car accident. Students compete in "Penny Wars" by adding pennies to their grade's jar. Any monies in the jar other than pennies, which is put in by other classes, subtracts from the total amount of pennies. Dugger's kindergarten class won the "Penny Wars" by raising the most money. Dugger Elementary students raised a total of $1,015 to donate to Dylan's family.
