Macel Lundy, 98, of Linton, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at Glenburn Home in Linton.
She was born Dec. 16, 1908, in Lyons, the daughter of Albert Wright and Belva (Johnson) Wright Lilly.
She had worked for the Real Silk factory in Linton, the Hi-Q-Lo-P in Switz City and at Crane NWSC. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Jasonville and was a longtime volunteer at Glenburn Home.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Lundy and his wife, Bonnie, of Switz City, Willis Lundy and his wife, Shirley, of Reelsville and Frank Lundy and his wife, Irma, of Brazil; a daughter, Sarah Mae Hollingsworth and her husband, Wayne, of Linton; 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles Lundy, on July 29, 1976; a son & daughter-in-law, James and Norma Lundy; a grandchild, John Tracy Lundy; two sisters, Hazel Banner and Maxine Mrozek; and a brother, Hurschel Wright.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville with Pastor Bob Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery.
Friends may call at 12 noon Friday at the church until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations go to Blessed Hope Baptist Church or the Glenburn Home Volunteer Fund through the funeral home.
