* Oct. 12 -- Nathan P. Michael, 25, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery, released on Oct. 13 and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 14. Linton Police Department Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 12 -- Sean D. Neal, 19, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of burglary, theft, possession of stolen property, attempted burglary, possession of over 30 grams of marijuana and cultivating marijuana. Bond was set at $43,000. Linton Police Department Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 13 -- Ryan R. Lewis, 47, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released on $4000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 14 -- Ernest L. Bohnert, Jr., 47, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, released and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 15 -- Mary B. Ball, 54, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond was set at $4000. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 12 -- Nathan C. Michael, 25, Linton, was arrested after police responded to a report of domestic battery involving choking which occurred around 5:45 p.m. on a city street near 6th and C St. NE.

LPD Det. Josh Goodman was the investigating officer.

* Oct. 12 -- A Linton resident reported two cartons of cigarettes worth $62.98 that were delivered in the mail were taken from her front porch on SE 7th St. sometime after noon on Oct. 6.

LPD Reserve Patrolman Brian Sparks is the investigating officer.

* Oct. 12 -- Two teens from Jasonville were arrested in connection with the Sep. 23 burglary of the Bibleway Church.

LPD Det. Josh Goodman was the arresting officer.

* Oct. 13 -- Murphy's USA, Linton, reported a supply cabinet in a public restroom had been busted with the door broken in half.

LPD Patrolman Jayson Smith is the investigating officer.

* Oct. 14 -- Police investigated a complaint involving criminal mischief when a resident on SW E St. reported a tire on his vehicle was flattened sometime during the night by a small clean cut in the side wall.

LPD Chief Troy Jerrell was the investigating officer.
