Jonell Mathis Frye, 61, of Bloomington, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Nov. 2, 1945 in Jeffersonville, she was the daughter of John Edward and Vera Eunice McArtor Mathis.
She worked in sale and purching for Sears, Cracker Barrel and KPT. She was a member Lyons Community Church.
For was married to James W. Frye for 43 years.
Survivors include: sons, William Eric Frye and James Aaron Frye, both of Bloomfield; a daughter, Melissa Jean Wood of Bloomington; grandchildren, Shaunacee Renee Harris of Bloomington, James Jacob Edward Wood of Indianapolis, Clifford Edward Wood II of Bloomington, Brittany Ann Luman of Bloomington and Amber Marie Luman of Bloomington; her mother, Vera Mathis of Bloomington; brothers, Max Mathis of Ellettsville and Mark Mathis and his wife, Bobbi, of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her father; and brother, Michael Mathis.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Garrison Chapel Cemetery.
