FLC’s quilt auction was a success this year

To the Editor:

We at the Family Life Center and myself personally would like to say a big thank you to all who donated to the quilt auction this year.

We truly had a great variety of wonderful, beautiful and one-of-a-kind items to auction. The response was overwhelming from the crowd at the Apple Festival.

To those who bought the quilts, wall hangings, comforters, baby blankets and the special unique items, a big thank you to you too! Without you the auction would not have been as successful.

Monty McKim was once again supreme in his auctioneering skill! Included in this thank you would be, of course, to the Bloomfield State Bank, Farmers & Mechanics, MainSource and Linton Bloomfield State Bank to display the quilts before the auction, this allowing more people to see up close the beautiful items.

To the Bloomfield Apple Festival Committee, it was another successful festival for families of Bloomfield and surrounding counties. Your work has not gone unnoticed. Thank you so very much.
