JAIL LOG

• Oct. 21 -- Lori B. Hartsburg, 25, Bloomfield, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and criminal recklessness with a vehicle, released on bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 26. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

• Oct. 21 -- John C. Barker, 26, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and criminal recklessness with a vehicle, released on bond and scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 26. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Jeremy Inman was the arresting officer.

The Linton Police Department activity log for Friday through Sunday included one trespassing, one follow-up investigation, five information only, one juvenile/delinquent, one assist to the utility department, two vandalisms, one drug investigation, two school/foot patrols, one public intoxication, one disorderly conduct, two brush fires, two accidents with personal injuries, three accidents with property damage, one funeral escort, five medical/illness, one animal complaint, one prowler, three suspicious vehicles/persons, five assists to other agencies, two harassment complaints, one extra patrol, four thefts-other, one welfare check/concern, one fingerprint for a gun permit, one domestic dispute, one domestic/neighbor, two community relations, one open garage door, four ordinance violations and two traffic stops.

• Oct. 19 -- A resident on 2nd St. SW reported about $25 worth of gas had been stolen from their car. They had heard a noise around midnight and when they got in their car in the afternoon, it was on empty even though the tank had been filled the day before. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

• Oct. 19 -- A resident on I St. SW reported a theft which happened one week earlier. When they came home, their back door was open and a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator) unit worth approximately $400 was missing. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

• Oct. 19 -- An incident of criminal mischief which happened sometime after 8 p.m. on Oct. 17 was reported by a resident on W. Vincennes St. after discovering their truck had been “keyed” on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side, the tailgate and the entire driver’s side. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

• Oct. 21 -- The Country Porch station on SR 59 N. reported a drive-away theft of fuel worth $20.03 at 8:15 a.m. by a female with blonde hair driving a royal blue convertible car. LPD Det. Josh Goodman was the investigating officer.
