Born in Mineral on Feb. 13, 1924, she was the daughter of Odes and Lushie (Flater) Wiles. On May 11, 1989, she married Robert E. Sanders.
Geneva was employed at RCA in Bloomington, IN for 18 years. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert E. Sanders; five daughters, Sharon (Bill) Powell, Billie Phillips and Carolyn Goodman all of Linton, Sherry (Roger) King of Bloomfield and Vera (Steve) Madison of Spencer; three sons: Carl (Connie) Hall and Donny (Nancy) Hall both of Linton and Rick (Barbara) Hall of Jasonville, 23 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William E. Hall in 1981; two sisters, Alice King and Lorene Mullis and one brother, Charles Wiles.
Friends may call at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel from 4-8 p.m.Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until the hour of service on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Darren McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Flater Cemetery in Bloomfield. For those who wish to make a memorial contribution, the family has named the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
