Gary L. King, 49, of Bloomfield, passed away at 10:22 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at the Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.
Born May 31, 1958 in Linton, he was the son of Marshall Jr. and Norma (Rich) King.
He was a welder for Stone City Iron Works in Bedford and he attended the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Bloomfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving relatives include his wife Nita King of Bloomfield, a daugher Brittany Lopez of Bloomington; a step-son Zackery Barnett of Bloomfield; his mother, Norma King of Lyons; and three brothers Donnis King, Dan King, Tim King, all of Lyons.
He was preceded in death by his father Marshall King Jr.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and 10:00 A.M. till the hour Monday at Word of Life Church.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Word of Life Fellowship Church, located east of Bloomfield with Pastor Eugene Helms officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Gary's name in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
