Marcus "Mark" Emery, 70, of Bloomfield passed away at 8:48 a.m. on Dec. 4, 2007 at his residence.
Born Oct. 21, 1937 in Greene County, he was the son of Virgil and Ruth (Carnegie) Emery.
A 1955 graduate of Scotland High School, he was retired from RCA/Thompson's Consumer Electronics in Bloomington as a fork lift driver. He was a member of the Mansions in Heaven Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 47 years Carolyn (Skinner) Emery of Bloomfield; children, Kristi Parkes of Bloomfield, Kevin Emery and Marlita Emery, both of Worthington; three grandchildren, Brittany Parkes, Jonathon Beaudry and Logan Wisneiski; and two brothers Harold "Buck" Emery of Bloomfield and Danny Emery of Switz City; one sister, Mary M. Hamilton of Bloomfield, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. until the hour Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery
