What is your favorite memory of the Greene County Invitational?
"Without question my best memory of the Greene County tournament is winning it in 2003. That was such a special group of kids. They put so much effort into the program and making it better."
-- Grant McVay, head coach at Clay City High School, who will be coaching in his eighth tournament in 2008.
"As a player, it was nice to come into the tournament because it was a taste of sectional basketball. It was a lot of fun and exciting to be part of this tournament. It was like a mid-season sectional tournament. Now I get a chance to experience the tournament as a head coach."
-- Clarence Johnson, head coach at Union (Dugger) High School and former player at Worthington-Jefferson High School.
"When you get down to it, my memories of the Greene County comes down to winning it. We won two years ago when I was coach. ... It used to be almost like a sectional preview. I have been fortunate to have been a part of this tournament as a fan, player and coach."
-- Darren Clayton, head coach and former player at Linton-Stockton High School.
"For me this tournament is all about the history and tradition we have had in it. We are the only team that has been a part of this since the beginning and have won it more than anybody else. This tournament means a lot to our fans and our community."
-- Andy Igel, head coach at Eastern Greene High School.
