Shirley Mae McNabb Speas, 70, of Russellville, passed away at St Clare Medical Center Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at 12:45 a.m.
She was born Sept. 3, 1937, at Burns City, IN to Hallie James and Lestel Pearl Inman McNabb.
She married Leonard Dean Speas Nov. 6, 1960, at Scotland, IN and he survives.
She operated a beauty shop in Russellville from 1969 to 1996.
She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Women's Missionary Circle, Active Baptist Campers, was a Sunday School Teacher, Home Ec Club at Russellville.
She was a graduate of Scotland High School and attended Lafayette Beauty Academy.
Survivors include: a son, Lonnie Dean (Michele) Speas of Roachdale; a daughter, Connie DeAnn (Jeff) Porter of Waveland; four grandchildren; a brother, Darrell (Sandy) McNabb of Scotland; and sisters Jean James of Rockville and Claudia (Raymond), James of Middletown.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at 301 E. Green St. Waveland with calling from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Wallie Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery at Russellville.
