GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

JAIL LOG

* Dec. 14 -- Terry L. Clark, 53, Washington, was arrested on a preliminary charge of theft. Bond was set at $4,000. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Brian Woodall was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 14 -- David D. Foster, 46, Bloomfield, was arrested on a petition to revoke suspended sentence and is being held without bond. Bloomfield Police Department Deputy Marshal Shane Smith was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 15 -- Darryl W. Moore, 28, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery with bodily injury. Bond was set at $1,000. Jasonville Police Department Officer James Gadberry was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 15 -- Donald S. Forker, 25, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of precursors. No bond has been set. Jasonville Police Department Officer James Gadberry was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 15 -- Kylee N. Wood, 28, Jasonville, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana in an amount over 30 grams, released Dec. 16 on $4,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 21. Jasonville Police Department Officer James Gadberry was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 15 -- Chris L. Omullane, 48, Ellettsville, was arrested on preliminary charges of intimidation and three counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, No bond has been set. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeremy Cook was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 16 -- Kyle R. Barton, 21, Linton, was arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication, released on $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 21. Indiana State Excise Police Officer Watson was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 16 -- Shan M. Bowers, 20, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of marijuana, released on $1,500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 21. Indiana State Excise Police Officer Watson was the arresting officer.

ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Friday through Sunday included five follow-up investigations, one information only, one fight, two juvenile/delinquent, one assist to the utility department after hours, one school/foot patrol, one alcohol related incident, four accidents with personal injury, five accidents with property damage, six medical/illness, three alarms, one animal complaint, one suspicious vehicle/person, seven assists to other agencies, one harassment complaint, one reckless driver, one attempted burglary, two thefts-other, one 911 prank/false call, two assists to the utility department, three domestic disputes, two community relations, one ordinance violation warning and three traffic stops.

* Dec. 14 -- No injuries were reported after a two vehicle accident at 10:30 a.m. on State Road 54 near Marshall Avenue. While attempting to tow a vehicle, a driver was northbound in the southbound lane at the intersection, did not see another vehicle on Marshall Ave. coming across SR 54, and backed into it. Damage was minimal. LPD Cpl. Chad Crynes was the investigating officer.

* Dec. 14 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving three vehicles at 5:50 p.m. on State Road 54 West at the intersection of County Road 1100 West. The first car, driven by a Worthington resident, was stopped at a red light. The second car, driven by a Bloomfield resident, was stopped behind the first. Then the third car, driven by a Linton resident, attempted to stop but did not get stopped in time and hit the second car in the rear which then hit the first car in the rear. The license plate was bent and a light was broken on the first car. The rear bumper and the under-carriage was damaged on the second car. The air bags deployed on the third car and the entire front portion of the vehicle including the front doors was damaged. The primary cause of the accident was failure to yield with no other contributing circumstances listed. Total damage was estimated at $5,001-$10,000. LPD Patrolman Debbie McDonald was the investigating officer.

* Dec. 15 -- A Linton resident reported the theft of a Hoosier Works debit card and five unauthorized transactions. LPD Patrolman Keith McDonald is the investigating officer.

* Dec. 15 -- No injuries were reported after an accident involving two vehicles at 10:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Pizza City restaurant on State Road 54 East. The vehicles were parked next to each other but when the driver of one backed out, he didn't see the other one and hit it. Damage was estimated at $1,001-2,500. LPD Patrolman Jayson Smith was the arresting officer.

* Dec. 16 -- A resident on A Street SE reported coming home and finding someone had been in the house and turned a heater on causing a DVD/VCR combo unit to melt and almost catch fire. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark was the investigating officer.
