Lillian J. Sinders, 103, of Jasonville and formerly of Worthington, passed away 7:25 p.m.. Friday, December 28, 2007, at the home of her daughter.

She was born April 13, 1904 in Clay County, to David and Saluda (Fulk) Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Worthington Christian Church She was formerly a member of Pleasant Bethel United Methodist Church at Arney,. She was formerly a 4-H Leader in Owen County.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Jean (George) Sparks, Jasonville; two grandchildren, Niki (Rick) Jackson, Jasonville and Rick (Eva) Sparks, Worthington; five great grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Jackson, Jeremy (Shelly) Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Nichalas (Tasha) Sparks and Elizabeth (Sonny) Hollenbeck; eight great great grandchildren, Rebekah, Lenzie, Mackenzie, Shelby, Illiona, Daeon, Jareth and Ricki; one step-great great granddaughter, Syleona; two neices and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rex Sinders, Feb. 16, 1993; five sisters and one brother.

Service will be at Worthington Christian Church at 2 p.m. Monday with Bob Grider officiating.

Visitation will be at the church after 10 a.m. Monday.

Burial will be at Beech Cemetery at Coal City.

Memorials may be given to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
