* Jan. 3 -- Michael C. Huff, 28, Jasonville, was arrested on a petition to revoke and is being held without bond. Jasonville Police Department Officer James Gadberry was the arresting officer.

* Jan. 3 -- Charles H. Oaks, III, 34, Clinton, was arrested for failure to appear and is being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy John Fowler was the arresting officer.

* Jan. 3 -- W. Jeff Lehman, 48, Linton, was arrested on preliminary charges of strangulation, interference with the reporting of a crime, disorderly conduct and battery resulting in bodily injury, released on $6,500 bond and scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 18. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Aaron Smith was the arresting officer.



The Linton Police Department's activity log on Thursday included four follow-up investigations, three information only, one assist to the utility department after hours, two school/foot patrols, one structure fire, two accidents with property damage, three medical/illness, one animal complaint, one suspicius vehicle/person, one assist to another agency, one child abuse/neglect, one open door or garage and eight traffic stops.

* Jan. 3 -- LPD Cpl. Chad E. Crynes was on routine patrol in the area of 9th St. NW and Glenburn when he observed Frank E. Caddell, 25, Linton exiting a vehicle. Crynes was aware there was a warrant for Caddell's arrest. Caddell was taken into custody without incident. The warrant was from Sullivan County in connection with preliminary charges of criminal mischief and battery. Caddell was transported to Dugger and transferred to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Department. Bond was set at $6,000. Crynes was assisted by LPD Det. Jayson Smith.
