Leo Ramsey, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born October 31, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana he was the son of Everett & Liza (Fearnot) Ramsey.
Leo was a farmer and drove a school bus for the Bloomfield School District for 32 years. He was a member of the Mineral United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: his wife Martha; two daughters, Janet Sue McIntosh of Bloomfield and Connie Elaine Maish of Indianapolis; one son, Randal Scott Ramsey of Bloomfield; two sisters, Luann Floyd of Linton and Nola King of Bloomington; one brother, Paul Ramsey of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler and Rev. Ralph Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Mineral United Methodist Church in Leo's name in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
