Edward A. Robinson, 63, of Crane, passed away 6:47 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008 at his residence.
Born April 20, 1944 in Scottsburg, he was the son of Harold and Madge (Watterson) Robinson.
He was an engineer for NWSC Crane -- retiring in 2007. He was a U.S. Navy in Vietnam and a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a member of the Harley Owner's group, ABATE, and was on the Board of Directors at the Crane Federal Credit Union.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Mary Kay (Matlock) Robinson, whom he married Oct. 2, 1978; one daughter, Shannon Smith and her husband Jeff of Bloomfield; one sister, Charlotte Higdon of Henryville; two brothers, Kenneth Robinson of S. Yamouth, Mass. and Rev. Don Robinson of Bloomington; one granddaughter, Amanda Smith and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday,at Grace Baptist Church, 2320 N. Smith Pike Bloomington, Indiana, with Rev. Don Robinson officiating.
