Maxine Ketchem, 91, of Lyons, passed away 12:04 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born March 1, 1916 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of William and Mildred (Williams) Patterson.
She was a homemaker and worked for the Bloomfield Woolen Mill. She was a member of Lyons United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Ed Ketchem, whom she married Aug. 18, 1935; two sons, Howard Ed Ketchem of New Albany and Richard L. Ketchem of Indianapolis; one brother, Robert Patterson of Lyons; four sisters, Glenne Parker of Sullivan, Betty Cowan of Auburn, Washington, Kathryn Pierce of Sullivan, and Mary Jane Bedwell of Bloomington; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Eugene Patterson, three sisters, Wilma Odom, Helen Teague, and Nancynell Eldridge.
Funeral services will be conducted 1p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons, with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Chapel Cemetery near Lyons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one-hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Lyons Health and Living Center.
