He was born Jan. 30, 1938 to Arthur and Lily (Cejnar) Larimer in Chicag0.
The family moved to the Solsberry and Bloomington area where he attended Solsberry High School.
He married Betty Stalcup on July 3, 1960.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a security officer for Indiana University. With his wife, they started their own commercial cleaning business. He returned to school and became certified in heating and cooling.
Survivors include: children, Alexia Larimer Bock
and husband Robert; Angela Larimer Delgado and husband Ron; Preston Larimer and wife Melissa; eleven grandchildren, Crystal Bock Unger & husband, Daniel of Wabash; Robert A. Bock of Tennessee; Nicholas, Richard, and Carter Larimer;
Robert Dodds of North Carolina, James Dodds, Stefanie Delgado, Marlon Delgado, and Farrah Wheeler and husband Tyson, all of Connecticut; and two great-grandchildren Tyson and Tiara Wheeler of Connecticut; siblings, David and Miyako Larimer of Solsberry; Charles Larimer of Texas; John and Joy Larimer of Great Britain; mother-in law, Mary Stalcup; nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted church family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents;
siblings, Clifford, Gene, and Nancy Larimer; grandchild, Debra-Ann Dodds; and father-in-law, Charles Stalcup.
Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at McCormick's Creek United Pentecostal Church, 3138 East SR 46, Spencer, IN, with Pastor Rick Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the church. Interment will take place in a private family service. Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion, Spencer Post 285 and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Spencer Post 1405 Honor Guard.
