Mary Jane Miller, 91, of Terre Haute, died early Thursday morning, Jan. 31, 2008, in Meadows Manor North.
She was born June 16, 1916, in River Falls, Wis., to Oscar J. Weberg and Edith E. Fanning Weberg.
Her husband, Charles K. Miller, preceded her in death in 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol S. Crawford of Terre Haute and Joan K. Watson and her husband Bob Watson, also of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Sherri Sapp, Eric Klakamp, Jill Thompson, Matt McCallum and Ryan Klakamp; six great-grandchildren, Chris Essex, Brent Essex, Kade Sapp, Morgan Thompson, Ryley Thompson and Katherine Klakamp; a brother, John Weberg and his wife Jacque; a brother-in-law, Joseph Merrill; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Winifred Merrill; and a son-in-law, James Crawford.
She was a graduate of Paris (Ill.) High School and the University of Illinois. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Mu Sorority and Centenary United Methodist Church. Mary and her husband, Charles, were well-known for many years as the owners and operators of Weberg's Furniture Store located on east Wabash Avenue.
Private funeral service will be conducted at Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
There is no visitation.
