* Feb. 13 -- James A. Alchin, 27, Indianapolis, was arrested on a petition to revoke and was being held without bond.

The Linton Police Department's activity log for Wednesday included one driver's license check, one medical/extraction, one follow-up investigation, three requests for information only, one school/foot patrol, one disorderly conduct, one accident with property damage, three medical/illness, four animal complaints, one prowler, one suspicious vehicle/person, one harassment complaint, one extra patrol, one theft-other, one disabled/stranded vehicle, one domestic dispute, one open door/garage, one battery, two traffic stops.
* Feb. 4 -- Charges were recently filed against a Linton man who was driving on a city street without insurance on Feb. 4. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Feb. 13 -- A drive-off theft was reported by the BP Gas Station on State Road 54 after a blonde female driving a green Durango pumped $35.20 worth of gas then left without paying at 9:15 a.m. LPD Patrolman Karl Jacobshagen was the investigating officer.
* Feb. 13 -- Police are investigating an incident of battery which allegedly occurred in the food section at the Wal-Mart store at 6:20 p.m. between a 59-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Worthington. LPD Cpl. Paul Clark is the investigating officer.
