Mildred E. (Guion) Campbell, 89, of Bloomfield, passed away at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at Garden Villa in Bloomington.
Born Feb. 28, 1918 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of James W. and Iva (Meeks) Guion.
She worked in sterilization for Bloomington Hospital retiring after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Cincinnati Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Ronald T. Campbell of Solsberry; two sisters, Marge Farmer and Thelma Perkins both of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Stacy Campbell, Stephen Campbell, and Christine Blake; seven great, grandchildren, Cole Campbell, Morgan Campbell, Bailey Campbell, Nicholas Campbell, Leslie Campbell, Jamie Blake, and Ruthann Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Campbell May 21, 2006, one son, Richard Lee Campbell, one sister, Alma Breedlove, and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Bob England officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill cemetery in Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
