Herschell Fuller, 93, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Nov. 21, 1914 in Bloomfield, he was the son of William and Christina (Frye) Fuller.
He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and Indiana University where he earned a B.S. and M.A. degree in education. He was a member of various educational organizations and was a 50-year plus member of the Bloomington Kiwanis Club.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Hazel (Lester) Fuller of Bloomington; two daughters, Luanne Pomroy and husband, Don, of St. Louis, MO, and Jane Fuller Kane and husband John of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Cynthia Jane Krueger and husband, Ron, of St. Louis, Greg Pomroy of St. Louis, John Fuller Kane and wife, Kristin of Abington, PA and Jennifer Davis Mullen and husband, Edward of Richmond, VA; and a great-grandson, Nicholas Krueger of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and seven sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington with Rev. Joe Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital in care of Kiwanis or to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
