Born Sept. 17, 1923 in Dresden, IN, he was the son of Allen and Lona (Kirk) Page.
He worked at NSWC Crane as a supervisor in quailty assurance. He drove a school bus for Eastern Greene school district, and he farmed. He was a member of the Owensburg Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, he served in Europe and was a part of D-Day, and the invasion of Normandy.
Surviving relatives include: his wife of 61 years, Lola L. (Jackson) Page of Bloomington; one son Ralph L. Page of Bloomfield, two daughters, Nancy Carmichael and husband Robert of Bedford, and Sheryl Coffey & fiance Keith Smith of Bloomington; six grandchildren Jonathan Page and wife Kris of Bloomfield, Amanda Page Bloomfield, Laura Carmichael of Bedford, Sarah Roberts and husband Chad of Springville, Kristopher Coffee and wife Jennifer of Decatur, Kebra Coffey of Bloomington; 10 great-grandchildren, Dillin, Austin, Jackson, and Logun Page, Kendale Roberts, Ben and Nick Gonzalez, Taylor Cielo-Coffey, Mckenna and Alyssa Coffey; and one siste,r Clara Flynn of Lyons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Harp Cowell and Emogene Reed; two brothers Max Page and Earnest Page.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kenneth Adams and Rev. Jim Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and noon until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
