Forrest Games Burright, 51, of Bloomington, passed away April of 2005 in Greene County.
His identification was recently confirmed after lab analysis by the Indiana State Police and a University of Indianapolis anthropologist.
Burright's skeletal remains were found by timber harvest employees on Jan. 17, 2007 in a remote wooded area northeast of Bloomfield near the intersection of county roads 325N and 455E about three miles from Tulip.
He is survived by two half-sisters, Harriet Clark of Illinois and Jeanette Mann of Michigan.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday in the Fellowship Hall of the Unitarian Universalist Church. The service is open to the public. Sharing of pictures is encouraged by those who knew this unique and complex person. There will be a notebook provided so that memories can be recorded before and after the service.
